Our Laser
Animation and Show Software which has been custom written for us and is not a
badged product from another company. The LASER ANIMATOR SOFTWARE uses the power
of the personal computer to create stunning laser shows with full animation
capabilities and is Windows 98/2000/XP based. It consists of the Editor, the
Player and an Interface.
 The editor is
used to create the laser animations. It provides all the tools required to
generate an animation. The software operates on the principle of frames, with
each frame containing a different laser graphic or set of images, just like a
reel of film. When they are played back, you obtain an animation.
There are many
powerful features to help with the animations such as: X, Y, Z plain rotation
effects, scaling, undo, saving of library images, cut and paste between frames,
importing of Windows true type text fonts, import of graphic images for logo
tracing, point manipulation, import / export of ILDA format laser files and
standard shape drawing tools (squares, rectangles, circles, ellipses,
triangles, polygons, stars, curved and straight lines, and free hand drawing).
Animation tools are provided for XYZ rotations, shrink / grow, movement paths,
multiple text scrolling effects and morphing. The software supports 16 colours
and 8 external outputs to switch special effects on or off or even to trigger
other multimedia packages. The package is very easy to use and animations can
be created very quickly with the format of operation similar to Shockwave
Flash.
 The player is
used to play back animations that have been created with the editor program, it
provides functions such as cue and play lists so that many different animations
can be combined together to form a complex show. It is also possible to set
start times for animations so that the whole system can be left on its own for
full automatic control with play cycles. Keys on the keyboard can be configured
to start animations, play a sequence or provide one shot functions so that a
live control environment can be created. Animations can play to audio via the
built in microphone or line jack.
The software comes
complete with a library of 260 images, and over 150 animations, comprehensive
user manual and specially written tutorials so that you can get up and running
very quickly. The minimum PC requirements for the Laser Animator software to
operate correctly are: 1.2GHz processor, 256MB RAM, 1.5GB free hard disk space,
a 15" monitor / graphics card that can run at a resolution of 1024x786, and a
ECP/EPP parallel port.

Specifications
The interface
connects to the PC's parallel port (printer port), and so eliminates the need
for a internal PCI / ISA card, making the system also usable on laptop PC's
without the need of a docking card. Installation is very simple, no need to
open the PC - just connect the laser as if it was a printer.
